You may be thinking...
Since you are an experienced publicist, do you also offer PR services and media outreach?
No, I’m contracted to only do PR for one company. I can connect you to them if you are interested in media outreach. I started Female Founder Media as a creative outlet strictly for writing projects. However, I do use my skills and knowledge from my work as a publicist in my copywriting. I know how to get and keep attention!
Can you take on my social media marketing and help me grow my following?
While I can provide some tips for social media, it’s not my expertise. I’m happy to recommended some other female go-getters who can help you!
Will you write newsletter content for me?
Maybe! Writing newsletter copy to generate sales is, again, not my area of expertise. But if your goal is to have a fun, engaging newsletter for your audience to keep you and your brand top of mind, I may be able help.
I want to share my life story in a book but I’m not a writer. Will you write it for me?
I’m flattered that you would ask! Book writing and memoirs are so personal that I would feel a bit awkward. However, I can connect you to the book PR firm I work for and they can lead you in the right direction.
What products are your main areas of interest?
I’m happiest writing about things that fit into my life: parenting, pets and pet products, women’s lifestyle products, children’s products, health and wellness, allergy-free food.
Have you worked with other women-owned businesses?
Yes! My side-hustles have led me to Feel Better Pops, Alkazone Alkaline Water, The DeCicco Group Realtors, and I also helped launch Inklings children’s products (today they are in Target- yay!)

I know how to get the media’s attention—and keep it. A storyteller at heart, I specialize in creating and promoting compelling angles and have gained national coverage for my clients including Good Morning America, The Today Show, New York Post, Life & Style, In Touch, Forbes, The New York Times, MSNBC, Real Simple, Wall Street Journal, MTV, SheKnows, Reader’s Digest and Southern Living. Relationships are the foundation of my work and I credit much of my success to maintaining connections with the media and becoming united with my clients. During my diverse career, I have led campaigns for clients in the lifestyle, women’s interest, healthcare, entertainment, non-profit, green energy, life sciences and consumer product sectors. I’ve been on both sides of the media and as a lifestyle writer have been published in outlets including Huffington Post. My experience also includes developing social media influencer campaigns. I previously launched an Internet TV show for which I produced episodes with international superstars including 30 Seconds to Mars and secured celebrity judges for The Independent Music Awards. My self-published book, Trash the Dress: Stories of Celebrating Divorce in your 20s, has been featured on International Business Times, The Sydney Morning Herald, Maclean’s, Glamour, Cosmo Middle East, The Globe and Mail and Dr. Oz’s YouBeauty.com. I blog about my life at www.joellesperanza.com and always tell my friends at Dola Media when I know someone who would make a great reality TV show.
